Program Management
• In the IT environment, ASI employees can provide day to day
direction of customer employees and other contract workers in
the development of information systems. Our project managers’
responsibilities are full system life-cycle.
• In the non-IT environment, ASI program managers are currently
responsible for major programs for clients including direct
contact with end users, all HR functions including staffing and
terminations, managing human resources costs, capital costs
and expenses.

Traditional Software Development
ASI is currently involved in Analytics projects for a major public utility. For this opportunity, ASI Software Engineers are designing &
implementing various Analytics modules for the customer. These modules support:

BI Commercial Product Development
• ASI is currently providing applications development services for the development and commercial marking of a State-of-the-Art BI
Solutions for law enforcement agencies. This application, which has been developed in conjunction with a Fortune 500 Company, is
called Police Business Intelligence Platform (PBI). ASI is an authorized re-seller of this product.
• PBI integrates disparate data from both existing information systems and real time data collected for field devices, such as red-light
and speed cameras, into a consolidated, normalized and centralized information reporting system. The system is very high speed,
includes sophisticated dashboards, minimizes impact on existing information systems and provides “google-like” search capabilities.

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
Under multiple prime contracts directly with WSSC, ASI continues to provide high-end IT professionals to the
utility company. Over the past five years, our efforts have included:
•
Providing application developers to construct and enhance client web sites.
•
Designing data exchange processes that were able to communicate with the many data sources and file
formats used throughout the client’s organization. ASI employees made it easier to report and analyze
information that previously used multiple data models to retrieve information such as sales invoices, order
receipts, and general ledger charges.
•
Implementing and administering the client’s Oracle e-Business suite and application development efforts
for their Oracle 11i implementation and upgrade project.
•
Providing an Interdisciplinary Engineering support for its Centralized Bidder Registration (CBR) system.
•
Administering Systems Programming services to design, implement, and maintain IDMS databases; and
on-going migration of these databases to new releases.

The Xerox Corporation
ASI is currently providing Project Managers (PM) who report directly to the ACS Regional Manager in
support of multiple speed camera contracts. These PMs are responsible for:

Program Management – IT
State of Maryland, Dept. of Information Technology
Human Capital Management Project Implementation Project
Under a prime contract directly with the State of Maryland, provided DoIT with a Senior PeopleSoft
HCM Business/Functional Program Manager. Responsibilities included:
• Developing and validating function business requirements.
• Managing and participating in functional team meetings to document and assess business process
changes and their impacts on current State operations.
• Recommending and influencing best practice solutions associated with business process
improvement and application design.
• Facilitating requirements gathering and documentation efforts, specifically in the areas of Core HR,
Time and Labor, Benefits Administration, Employee and Manager Self Service, Position
Management as well as Salary and Classification Administration.
• Liaising between the project team and State HR agencies for the purpose of requirements validation,
issue resolution and coordination of project activities.
• Working with the team to identify and address the impact changes to the HR system configuration
would have on integrated ERP systems and existing internal and external interfaces.
Contract Period: December 2012 to July 2014
Contract Value: $860,000.00

Facility Maintenance Services
Morgan State University
In May 2015, ASI was awarded a four year $900,000 contract to provide network and
telephone support services to the Morgan State University (MSU). Under this contract, ASI
will maintain MSU’s telephone and network infrastructure for the next four years. Support
efforts include:
• Telephone Maintenance for the NEC Univerge SV8500 IP PBX Systems and site
support of the existing telecommunications infrastructure at Morgan State University.
This includes existing NEC-PBX’s, NEC-Q Master Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) and
Mitel Voicemail System.
• Maintenance and support 7 days a week 24 hours a day including the purchasing of all
materials, parts, labor to support the maintenance of existing infrastructure and new
installations as required by MSU.
• Software Assurance (SWA) for all active NEC Univerge SV8500 IP PBX’s, the MSU
MITEL Networks 640 IP Unified Messaging/Voicemail/Auto Attendant System.
Contract Period Date: May 2015 to July 2016 with Options
Contract Value: $213,000.00

Field Support and Facility Maintenance
Maryland Transit Authority
Under a three year sub-contract, ASI provided field support technicians who provided the following services:
• Tier 1, 2 and 3 Support.
• Answering Service Desk calls and logging each call into the IT Service Desk system.
• Reviewing call history, assessing and resolving the noted problems, and performing documentation in the
IT Service Desk system.
• Ensuring that all workstations are current on drivers, patches and security updates.
• Troubleshooting workstation network connectivity issues.
• Setting-up new workstations and printers to access the network.
• Deploying new state procured equipment and software to the existing network.
• Documenting moves/adds/changes in accordance with MDTA inventory and DGS policies/procedures.
• Troubleshooting issues regarding all hardware and software stated above.
• Installation of software/hardware on workstations.
• Performing hardware/software testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Assisting in the development of installation instructions/standard operating procedures for applications.
• Performing configuration management of hardware/software.
Contract Period Date: May 2011 to July 2014
Contract Value: $350,000.00

With the Xerox Corporation, ASI is developing a State of the Art Business
Intelligence solutions for public safety organization. In late 2015, ASI will
begin marketing and supporting this solution to law enforcement
organizations at the federal, state and local level.
Mindseeker, Inc. a Virginia IT firm has been a partner of ASI since 2015.
ASI and Mindseeker have jointly bid and won a variety of opportunities with
the State of Maryland and other organizations.
AU & Associates is an Oracle/PeopleSoft consulting firm that ASI has
partnered with to provide the best solution at the lowest cost for customers
with the State of Maryland and Local Governments. AU is a sub-contractor
with ASI in Prince George’s County.
Clear Connection and ASI have partnered to provide Cloud Storage,
processing and retrieval solutions. Clear Connections is an authorized
provider of Cloud solutions to the Federal Government and operates and
maintains a certified Cloud facility in Ashburn, VA.
