Raman Metha CIO Chief Process Architect 1099 Highland Drive Suite D Ann Arbor, Michigan 48108 Cell 248-981-6119 Phone 734-922-6117 “ I was introduce to Ray though a contracting house for an immediate need we had for Launching New Business of our product line and services at Caterpillar and TRW and with our existing long term customer Ford Motor Company. Ray role and responsibility varied from gathering the information on our new customer SAP 6.0 ECC Solution and the functionality of its MM, PP, WM Modules, writing the work instruction that where needed by our team to perform the transactions in the SAP applications to manage the business. Ray’s role grew in that not all EWIE customer plants where working on SAP but on other ERP systems such as a legacy Mainframe ERP Epicor WX Solution and QAD Mfg Pro 10.0 solutions. Additionally Ray was responsible for the launch and enhancement of various web based .Net and Client Server MS SQL server projects for in house developed applications we use to manage the unique elements our business. In addition Ray was tasked with performing an Assessment of Organization Security practices and generating the needed organizational policies, procedures and artifacts needed for the Enterprise to ensure our company was in compliance with these standards. The approval allowed our company to be able get our customer approval to directly access their applications and database and to serve as a hosting site of a critical applications needed to help manage their Non Production materials. I have found Ray to be very reliable, to have a broad depth of knowledge across EDI practices, Networks, Databases, Applications and Application Coding and has innovative ideas to improve Business Processes to help manage our business. Unfortunately our business with our new customers did not grow at the rate of speed we had thought was going to occur and being a smaller privately held business we had let Ray go as we were not obtaining the needed revenues to sustain his employment with the type of skill sets he provides. Dr. Earl Robinson Jr. Chief Executive Officer and Majority Owner Lean Transformations L.L.C. Ph-313-492-0845 E-Mail: earlpower1@yahoo.com "Ray and I first met through the University of Phoenix MBA program as one of Ray’s University Professors. I found through this experience that Ray retains a very unique skill set and through understanding of business enterprises and operational improvement from both a transactional and physical change perspective. Jointly we started a small consulting firm with the main emphasis on helping minority organizations to improve the operational effectiveness. We developed an enterprise hybrid improvement business model that uses Lean Six Sigma practices and tools for improving not only the physical operational environment of our clients, but also the combining the use of these LSS tools and practices by applying them to the organizations IT Business Enterprise Solutions and Product development and engineering organizations. Our model helped clients establish a three pronged Change Management approach that included optimization of the Product Change Management, (An area of a organization that typically governs the rate of change), the Physical Operational Effectiveness Change Management (the area of the company where people touch the product) and the Transactional Operational Effectiveness Change Management (the area of the company where peoples communicate and share information throughout the enterprise that relate to the product or service they are managing). Although Ray and I chose different career paths after having success with the company, I would highly recommend him for any level of an organization in nearly any role due to his diverse product, process and industry exposure” January, 2010 Bruce C. There are over 160 manufacturing locations and 250 locations worldwide. Our ERP environments included added complexity of numerous customizations and bolt-on applications that interface with the ERP environments for managing different parts of our business. Ray's role was to collect the current state of information for these systems and to work with our consultants Deloitte and Cap-Gemmi to assist them in developing a future state environment. Ray also successfully assisted with defining and coordinating the ERP Transition Planning of a recently purchased MVL business unit with over 20 locations including manufacturing, engineering, and office buildings across the globe. Ray provided his vast PM expertise to follow-on with an enterprise infrastructure project to properly align appropriate resources necessary to complete the transition of Delphi's email messaging systems to Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE) and the integration with Delphi's Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environment. This highly technical environment utilized Ray's technical skills as well as his program management techniques to pull together the correct resources to push to conclusion. Ray also helped in identifying and providing solutions to overcome some key improvements needed in our existing PMO process/procedures to assist us in complying with ITIL standards. This helped our projects run more smoothly and improved the level of technical data needed to transition our ERP environment to newer technology. Ray has shown that he has both high level competency and very detailed knowledge of both the QAD and SAP ERP systems as well as EDI interfaces. Ray worked well with our program management team members, business interface partners and Delphi service support suppliers. His ability to work from a big picture enterprise view was much needed as we collected information to develop our future state plans.
