President Bush ran it in 3 hours, 44 minutes,
and 52 seconds!!! Run and touch 26
different things (not people) in the gym!

president the Pony Express crosscountry mail delivery began (it
started in 1860). Gallop 1 time
counter-clockwise around the gym.

President Arthur really loved fishing and
was one of the best fishermen in
America. He once caught an 80pound Bass!! Try to throw a fish into the
“pond” from 3 different poly spots!

Although President Taft was our largest
president (he weighed 332 pounds), he
really loved sports. He especially
enjoyed baseball, tennis, and dancing.
He created the “seventh-inning stretch”
at baseball games. Do the “TV stretch”
for 20 seconds in honor of President Taft.
Presidential Sports Trivia
Directions: Divide the students in to 12 different groups and give each group a
pair of die. Have each group start at a small cone (this will be their “home”).
When the music starts each group will roll their die and after adding the
numbers, the whole group will find that number on a president and complete
the exercise as a group. Once the exercise is completed, they go back “home”
and roll again. Continue until time to leave.

1)President Theodore Roosevelt: none
2)President George H.W. Bush: three cones, three bats, three balls
3)President Eisenhower: three hockey sticks, three small balls
4)President Ford: two footballs
5)President Obama: three basketballs
6)President Reagan: three beachballs

8)President Grant: measurements on wall up to 7 feet
9)President George W. Bush: none

11)President Arthur: inflatable pool, three rubber fishes, nine poly spots
