Informational Brochure Research Project

During this project, students will learn about the systems of the human body. The students will research each human body system and create an informational brochure, including drawings. Remember, the information must be written in your own words and a bibliography sheet must be included. This is an in-class project, but students may need additional time at home to complete research and drawings. Students will be given library time and access to computers to conduct necessary research. The students will have three (3) weeks to complete the project. Due dates will be provided for each section and the final project is due Wednesday, Feb. 22nd. The list of requirements and scoring rubric are below:

Section 1 – The Circulatory System – Due Wednesday, Feb. 8 th

Draw a color diagram of the circulatory system including the heart,

arteries and veins. (Be sure to label all the organs and components of the system. Neatness and creativity are important!)

Section 2 – The Respiratory System – Due Wednesday, Feb. 15 th
