In-School Collaborative Initiatives and Leadership

2015- Crisis Team Committee member: The committee and I were responsible for coming up with an
emergency plan and protocols for several potential emergency scenarios.

2014- Technology Committee member: The committee and I were responsible for overseeing
all aspects of technology in the school as well as hosting a Technology night for all parents
and students.
2014 Harvest Committee member: The committee and I were responsible for hosting a
“Harvest Night” for the parents and students.
2014 Reading Curriculum Night Committee Member: The committee and I were responsible
to hosting a reading curriculum night that helped parents and students in different aspects of
reading.
2014 Math Curriculum Night Committee Member: The committee and I were responsible to
hosting a math curriculum night that helped parents and students in different aspects of
mathematics.
2013-Talent Show Committee Member: The committee and I were responsible for auditioning
students for and putting together the talent show.
2013- Technology Integration Specialist: I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of
technology in the school as well as hosting a Technology night for all parents and students.






 2014-SIOP Training: The “Structured Instruction Observation Protocol” is a teaching
approach for English Language Learners that we use in our school.
 2014- CPI Training: This training was through the Crisis Prevention Institute and covered
different aspects of safe behavioral management.






2014 Power Teacher and Technology Training: This in-service covered how to use the
program Power Teacher as well as other technologies in the school.
2014- Data Teams for Learning: This training was an introduction to data, compiling data, and
how to use data teams for learning.
2014- PBIS Training- The “Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support” training was
introducing the behavior system that we use in our school.
2014 RTI Training- The “Response to Intervention” in-service covered the multi-tier approach
to the early identification and support of students with learning and behavior needs.
2014- Best iPad Apps and iPad Strategies to Increase Student Learning Workshop: This
workshop was concerned several educational iPad apps that could be used with
Kindergarteners to sixth graders.
2015- STEM Training: This training was an introduction to the Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math program and how to integrate it into our daily teaching.
