Entrepreneurial opportunity • If a large company were to buy our product then we would be able to make a profit as well. Motivations • We created this product so that places that use bananas in their products can have a easier time with getting the banana peeled and faster time serving the customer. Location • The business will be located on 123 Main Street, Marietta GA. • This location allows us to have great access to ship using the local sea ports and the worlds largest airport Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Promotion of Company • The company will be prompted by Walmart along with self promotion of small sings and asking our costumers to promote the product if they would like. Cost to make • The Banana peeler cost 35 dollars to make and would be sold at 50 dollars • We ask for a better way to produce the product in a cheaper manner • Walmart has agreed to offer 8,000 dollars in promotion of the product in return for 10% of the profit. Consumers • Many places will buy and promote our product but our major consumer will Stores like “Smoothie King” and “Dairy Queen” • we could get a large home store like Walmart to help take stock in our product and sell our banana peeler in their store. Competition • Our direct competitor is probably “Weston” they currently make apple peelers and they may be the ones who try and make a better banana peeler than ours • Our indirect competitors are probably Calphalon. Business plans • We are asking for a raise in funds ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 in promotion and production of the product • This raise would allow our company to double or quadruple the amount of banana peelers made. • After the first investment if all of the 228 banana peelers made were sold then there would be a 2,000 interest to Walmart and 10,700 dollars to use in the next production of banana peelers allowing us to make 14 extra banana peelers then last time along with the banana peelers we didn’t sell. Business growth • The business will grow about 3,000 dollars per year • until after two years we increase production prices from 8,000 to 10,000 causing us to make an extra 57 banana peelers per year. Advice needed • We want some advice on how to make more of our product and get a better income • We also would like to know how to promote the product better • Finally a better way to get more money to help produce the product
