QUEST HW –Honors Only
Request Quest
To obtain a UTEID…
1. Go to https://utdirect.utexas.edu/index.html
2. Click “Get a UT EID” fill out the information and your UT EID will be e-mailed to you!
Add yourself to the class roster…
1. Go to https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/student and click “Get Started”
2. You will be directed to the “My Classes” page
3. Click “Enroll in a new class”
4. You’ll be asked for the UNIQUE # (see below):
a. Honors Chemistry Block 1 2016s2p1
b. Honors Chemistry Block 3 2016s2p3
5. Enter the “Unique ID” (BOLD above)
6. Make sure the course description is correct
7. Click “Request Enrollment”
8. You’re done! That’s all you can do until I approve your enrollment!
QUEST is an online homework website developed and maintained by UTexas,
which allows students to submit work electronically for a grade. This format allows
students to get immediate feedback on their performance in content objectives.
Quest assignments are given with up to 1 week of time prior to their due date. The
due dates for Quest Assignments are RIGID. Late work will ONLY be accepted
two times per quarter with a 25% penalty. You will need to email me to request the
assignment to be reopened & then you will need to submit a grade change form
when the assignment is completed.
