Skyline Deli and have a successful proven track record in managing and operating a

History
Masad N. Baba has been in the deli business since 1988 when he first opened
Greens Park Deli. Greens Park Deli was the place where lessons were learned and
understanding the unique aspects of the food industry were obtained. He then
followed in 1989 opening Tower Park Deli. These first two establishments were the
foundation and learning experience to what is now Skyline Deli. Skyline Deli opened
in 1992 in the Houston Club Building located in downtown Houston. This particular
location is still the backbone of the company. New menu items and ideas are first
tested at this particular location. There has been over 10 Skyline Deli's which have
either been franchised or sold. Masad N. Baba currently owns 6 locations in the
Houston downtown and Galleria area. They are located at: 1) The Houston Club at
811 Rusk, in the downtown tunnel, 2) 2000 West Loop South, 3) 5151 San Felipe,
4) 1177 West Loop South, 5) 3000 Post Oak in the Bechtel Building and 6) 9700
Bissonnett.
Clean, Fresh, Quality and Honesty
For 18 years the key to our success was our approach towards the business. Four
policies dictated our work: clean, fresh, quality, and honesty. We take pride in the
cleanliness of our establishments. For example, our utensils after 10 years of use
still maintained a new shine about them. In addition, we never compromised the
freshness of our foods. From the cheeses, meats, fruits, and vegetables, customers
were assured they were getting fresh market products. The quality was also top
notch. We never bended our conviction when dealing with food distributors; we
always demanded the best. Finally, we are simply honest and friendly people. We
exude a comfortable and inviting aura to our place of business. Customers would
sometimes be short of change or simply may have failed to bring the balance back
at a later time ... they always did. In short, these four guiding principles lead to an
enjoyable and memorable work experience.
Uniqueness: Breads, Salads
What differentiates Skyline Deli from other deli's is the round top bread and made to
order tossed salads. The breads are baked fresh in house every morning, and the
choices consist of white, wheat, rye, and butter top wheat. (See picture inside). The
muffaletta bread, sliced wheat and white is also baked daily but delivered to us by
Ashcraft European Bakery early each morning. Furthermore, the distinguishing
element of our salads is we assemble the salad according to the customers wants
and mix the salad for them making every bite an equal in flavor.

Capability
Skyline Deli & Food Court has the ability to serve different styles of foods, from hot
meals made from scratch on a daily basis to hamburgers, chicken sandwiches,
chicken tenders, fries, and pizzas by the slice, fresh made to order salads, soups
and baked potatoes. Owning and running several food concepts such as Skyline
Deli, Rocket City Café & Grill and Olivia’s Pizzeria gives us the experience and
knowledge that we need to handle a diverse clientele. We pride ourselves on
knowing that each customer's order is processed on an average of 3 minutes or
less. In addition, Skyline Deli has done catering jobs for large corporate functions.
J.P. Morgan Chase has used Skyline to cater for approximately 2,000 people in
their sponsorship for "Global Days of America" and the "March of Dimes." We have
also catered to Pennzoil as they provided breakfast and lunch to their 800
employees each day of the week for Employee Appreciation.

company functions. They have always done an exceptional job in meeting our

Greenway Plaza (Weslayan Tower). Skyline Deli took over the eating facility at
Weslayan Tower in November of 1994. They have vastly improved the selection and

from our tenants and their visitors. Paragon's own corporate management team has
weekly meetings which are generally catered by our deli to the satisfaction of
