Adult Education Center A Note from the Director: We are happy that the spring semester is under way and look forward to an exciting year. Our Center is in the process of planning several events including seminars that focus on specific majors and networking opportunities within those majors as well as appreciation events and contests. We’re working hard to get the fall2015 and spring 2016 schedules created and posted in advance so please visit our facebook page and let us know what classes you would like to see on the schedule. Our first contest will be posted this month! 1 Criminal Justice Seminar Showcase Series The Adult Education Center will be hosting our first seminar in our showcase series on Thursday, April 16th at 6pm. Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor and Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco will be speaking about the use of body cams in their agencies. Make sure you visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to file your 2015-2016 FAFSA form with our school code 001526. Once complete, monitor your student email and eLion account for important updates. Stay ahead of your disbursements and contact our office to register TODAY! 2 Qualified students invited to apply for Criminal Justice Honor Society All Saint Leo University students who meet the criteria described below are encouraged to apply for membership to join Alpha Phi Sigma, the Criminal Justice Honor Society. Membership is open to all Saint Leo University students—regardless of location. To qualify, a student must: · have completed 3 full semesters, · rank in the top 35 percent of his or her class, or have an overall GPA of 3.2, · have a criminal justice GPA of at least 3.2, · have completed at least four courses in criminal justice at Saint Leo University, and · be an officially declared criminal justice major or a minor in criminal justice.
