The University’s Department of Business Administration is currently seeking an experienced and qualified professional to fulfill a full-time faculty position at the Langley Educational Center located on the Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. The new Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Project Management will be responsible for teaching nine business courses a year. In addition, the new faculty member will assist the Department Chair and Director on academic projects, advise students, and engage in curriculum development. Interested candidates must have a doctorate in project management from a regionally accredited institution with 18 credits in project management or a terminal degree in a related field and extensive work experience/ certification in the area of project management. Military requirements mandate the candidate must be a United States citizen. The Langley Center offers an accelerated eight-week term format, allowing students to complete two courses per term and up to 36 credit hours per year. Classes are open to both military and civilian students, and many courses are offered online. The Langley Air Force Base is one of the oldest continuously working air bases in the United States. The Center is situated in a prime location in Virginia, in close proximity to the capital city of Washington, D.C.
