The Holy Savior Menard administration and Key Club would like to welcome you to Senior Night honoring the football players, cheerleaders, dance line, and drum corps from the class of 2015. Please stand for the invocation: In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Dear God, thank you for giving us the ability to gather in the spirit of fellowship. Thank you for blessing these students with the talents they have shared with Menard and with You. We ask that you continue to bless these students and guide them into their futures. Now, please join us in recognizing and honoring the many talents and achievements of these seniors: CAROLINE Leah Michelle Aldridge Escorting Leah tonight are her parents, Retired Colonel Bill and Mrs. Renee Aldridge. Leah has attended Menard since seventh grade. She has been a member of the Golden Eaglette Danceline since her freshman year, this year serving as Captain. She is proud to have achieved such dance accolades as the Rookie of the Year, the Good Shepherd Award, and American All-Star. Furthermore, Leah has been active in clubs and organizations such as Key Club, Beta, Catholic Daughters, and FCA, and she was honored to have been chosen for the Jenny Smith Scholarship and the Charles MacArthur Scholarship. After graduation, Leah plans to attend ULL with hopes of becoming a kindergarten teacher and working in foreign missions during the summers. Leah Michelle Aldridge MIDORI Paris Michael Beaudoin Paris is escorted tonight by her parents Ms. Keisha Beaudoin and Mr. Victor Beaudoin III. 1 Paris has attended Menard since her freshman year. She has been active in sports such as soccer and cheerleading, as well as clubs such as Art Club, FCA, and Spanish Club. She is proud to have been a part of A-Hec of a summer in 2014 and to have achieved perfect attendance for the ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades. After she graduates, Paris hopes to attend ULM to major in nursing. Paris Michael Beaudoin CAROLINE Alyson Ann Deville Escorting Alyson tonight are her parents Mr. Steven Deville and Mrs. Tricia Deville. Alyson has attended Menard since the seventh grade. During this time, she has been actively involved in cheerleading. As a junior, she served as squad lieutenant, and this year, she serves as captain. Throughout high school, Alyson has maintained A/B honor roll and has been active in both FCA and Beta Club. After graduation, Alyson plans to attend LSU to study optometry. Alyson Ann Deville MIDORI Olivia Anne Neri Olivia is the daughter of Dr. Andrea Neri and the late Mr. John Neri. She is escorted this evening by her mother. Olivia has attended Menard since the seventh grade. She has been involved in sports such as Golden Eaglettes danceline, power lifting, and Eagle Core, as well as clubs such as 4H and Art Club. As a sophomore, she won the Presidential Award for outstanding academic performance. After she graduates, Olivia will seek a PhD in psychology, though at this time, she is undecided upon the university she will attend. Olivia Anne Neri MIDORI Bri Marie Perkins Bri is escorted this evening by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Perkins. Bri has attended Menard since the seventh grade. During this time, she has managed the football team and has been active is such clubs and organizations as Art Club, MAC, and Glee Club. She is proud to be a Menard Student Ambassador and to be involved with the St. Rita Choir and youth group. After high school, Bri plans to join NET Ministries, which provides training for missionaries; then she plans to attend Southeastern University to major in social work. Bri Marie Perkins 2 CAROLINE Mallory Noel Robichaux Escorting Mallory tonight are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Robichaux. Mallory has attended Menard since seventh grade. During this time, she has been actively involved in Cross Country and Track. In the past few years, she has achieved numerous first place wins, state championships, All-American recognitions, and AllState recognitions. Furthermore, Mallory has danced for thirteen years, being a member of the Golden Eaglettes since her sophomore year and participating in The Nutcracker for the Red River Dance Theater. Mallory has also been involved in various clubs and organizations, including Key Club, NHS, Beta, Spanish Club, MAC team, Music Ministry, Newspaper Staff, and Yearbook Staff. She is proud to have recently been named the school Wendy’s Heisman winner, as well as a state finalist. Though she is undecided at this time about a college, Mallory hopes to run cross country and track in college and major in a medical field. Mallory Noel Robichaux MIDORI Olivia Claire Sandifer Olivia is escorted tonight by her parents, Charles and Margaret Sandifer. Olivia has attended Menard since eighth grade. She has been involved with the Golden Eaglettes danceline since her sophomore year, being named American All Star for three years and UDA All Star her junior year. She has participated in the Red River production of The Nutcracker since 2009 and in the Menard spring musical Oklahoma and. Having maintained honor roll since her sophomore year, Olivia is proud to have scored a 30 on her first attempt at the ACT. After graduation, Olivia will attend LSU then the Logan University of Chiropractic. While at LSU, Olivia hopes to dance as a Golden Girl. Olivia Claire Sandifer CAROLINE Abbey Lane Slaughter Abbey is the daughter of Mrs. Connie Van Bibber and the late Clyde Slaughter. Escorting her tonight are her mother and step-father, Mr. Terry Van Bibber. Abbey has attended Menard since the tenth grade. During this time, she has maintained A/B honor roll and has been active as a varsity cheerleader. She has also been involved in clubs such as Key Club, NHS, Spanish Club, Beta, and Student Council. After graduation, Abbey plans to attend LSU with hopes of becoming a optomologist or dermatologist. Abbey Lane Slaughter 3 MIDORI Peyton Ann Wilder Escorting Peyton this evening are her parents, Mr. Rusty Wilder and Mrs. Jennifer Wilder. Peyton has attended Menard since her seventh grade year. She has been active as a varsity cheerleader since freshman year, having served the squad as co-captain as a junior. Also, Peyton has been involved in such clubs as FCA, 4H, and Spanish Club. After she graduates, Peyton hopes to attend ULL and pursue a career in dentistry. Peyton Ann Wilder CAROLINE Jason Joseph Badeaux Jason is escorted tonight by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Jay Badeaux. Jason has attended Menard since seventh grade. During this time, he has participated in such sports as football, powerlifting, baseball, and track. He has lettered in both football and powerlifting. Also, he has been involved in such activities as Spanish Club, Key Club, NHS, Bass FINatics, and Columbian Squires. He serves the school on the MAC team, in ministry, and as a student ambassador. Throughout high school, Jason is proud to have attended the HOBY conference, Boys State, and to have maintained a 4.0 GPA in the honors curriculum. After graduation, Jason plans to attend LSU to major in business, with plans of attending law school. Jason Joseph Badeaux MIDORI Richard Anthony Cook III Richard is being escorted tonight by Mr. Michael Boudreaux and Mrs. Terri Boudreaux. Richard has attended Menard since seventh grade. He has been involved in varsity football, basketball, and track & field. He has been awarded 1st team all district for football and 1st team all district for basketball. After graduation, Richard plans to attend either ULL or LSU to study marketing. Richard Anthony Cook III CAROLINE Thomas James Davis III Escorting Thomas this evening are his parents Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Davis. Thomas has attended Menard since seventh grade. He has been active in various sports, including football, soccer, and cross country. Thomas upholds a 3.6 grade point 4 average, while also being active in Senior Beta. One of Thomas’s greatest achievements is being named a Life Scout, which is a step away from Eagle Scout. After graduation, Thomas plans to attend either LSU or the University of Texas to major in pre-med. Thomas James Davis III MIDORI Connor Mark Despino Connor is escorted this evening by his parents, Mr. Jeff Despino and Mrs. Christie Coulon. Though Connor has attended Menard only this year, he has excelled throughout high school. He played baseball ninth through eleventh grades, and he has been a member of FCA. This year, he is active in Key Club, Quiz Bowl, and Eagle Core. He remains active in his church and helps with the junior high youth group. After graduation, Connor plans to attend ULL to major in economics. Connor Mark Despino CAROLINE Grant Edward Dobard Escorting Grant are his parents Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Joan Dobard. Grant has attended Menard since seventh grade. He has excelled in football, baseball, and track. As a junior, he was named football defensive back of the year. Grant proudly has maintained a 3.8 grade point average in the honors curriculum¸ while remaining active in FCA, Key Club, Spanish Club, Columbian Squires, and MAC team. Additionally, Grant is proud to have reached the level of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. After he graduates in May, Grant plans to attend LSU to major in business. Grant Edward Dobard MIDORI Cristian Omar Gaspar de Alba Christian is escorted this evening by his father Mr. Fernando Gaspar de Alba. Christian has attended Menard since seventh grade. During this time, he has been active in soccer, Spanish Club, Columbian Squires, and FCA; and he has been a member of Eagle Core since junior year. Upon graduation, he hopes to attend LSU to major in Electrical Engineering. Cristian Omar Gaspar de Alba CAROLINE Hayden Taylor McCrory 5 Escorting Hayden tonight is his mother, Shannon Keppinger. Hayden has attended Menard since seventh grade. He is proud to have lettered in basketball all four years. Hayden is also active in the Bass FINatics clubs and Eagle Core. After graduation, Hayden plans to attend LSU to major in chemical engineering. During this time, he has participated in football and baseball. As a sophomore, he was awarded the Strut Vanderlick Award for Baseball. Jack has played with Eagle Core since his sophomore year. Furthermore, Jack has been involved with organizations such as Key Club, Beta, FCA, NHS, Spanish Club, Quiz Bowl, MAC team, and Columbian Squires. Jack is especially proud to have won the Catholic Daughters Poetry Competition as a sophomore and to have placed 1st at the district rally in biology as a freshman. After graduation, Jack plans to attend LSU to major in pre-med. John “Jack” Harrison Miller III CAROLINE Brandon Chase Obey Escorting Brandon tonight are his mother Daphne Obey and his grandmother, Florence. Brandon has attended Menard since his freshman year. He has played soccer all four years, being named District MVP as a junior. Also as a junior, Brandon was named All State Second Team. He has also been an integral part of Eagle Core since his freshman year, as he serves as captain this year. After graduation, Brandon plans to attend LSU or ULL and major in kinesiology. Brandon Chase Obey MIDORI Gregory Tanner Roberts Tanner is escorted this evening by his mother Mrs. Denise Hill and his father Mr. John Roberts. Tanner has attended Menard since eighth grade. Throughout high school, he has participated in both varsity football and track. After graduation, Tanner plans to attend LSUA and later transfer for a masters in nursing. Gregory Tanner Roberts 6 CAROLINE Mark Wyatt Thiels Wyatt is escorted tonight by his parents Mark and Megan Thiels. Wyatt has attended Menard since the 7th grade. He is honored to be the fourthgeneration Thiels in his family to attend Menard. Throughout high school, Wyatt has participated in both varsity football and track. In football, he was named All District as a junior and All-Cenla as a senior. In track & field, he has received the Throwing Award and Most Valuable Thrower Award. Throughout high school, Wyatt has been involved in 4-H and Columbian Squires. He has also received the President Education Award twice. Wyatt is exceptionally proud to have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout this past August. After graduation, Wyatt plans to attend McNeese University to pursue a degree in Forestry. Mark Wyatt Thiels MIDORI Austin Balthazar Vaughn Escorting Austin tonight are his parents Mr. Leon K. Vaughn and Mrs. Angela Vaughn. Austin has attended Menard since eighth grade. Throughout high school, Austin has been greatly involved with powerlifting and football. He has won many awards, including 1st and 2nd Team All-District Linebacker, Honorable Mention AllState Athlete, and Powerlifting State Champion. As a senior, he is involved in FCA. Recently, Austin was awarded the KALB Channel 5 “Athlete of the Week.” In the fall, Austin plans to attend ULM and major in accounting. He hopes to continue his football career on the collegiate level. Austin Balthazar Vaughn CAROLINE Hunter David Wellan Escorting Hunter this evening are his parents Louis and Janet Wellan. Hunter has attended Menard since his freshman year. He has been involved tennis throughout high school and Eagle Core for the past two years. Also, Hunter has been active in organizations such as Quiz Bowl, 4H, Spanish Club, and Bass FINatics. Currently, he is Bass FINatics vice-president. He is especially proud that he will soon achieve Eagle Scout status. After graduation, Hunter plans to attend Louisiana Tech and major in engineering. Hunter David Wellan 7 MIDORI Spencer Elliot West Spencer is being escorted tonight by his parents Mrs. Sandra West and Mr. Troy West. Spencer has attended Menard since his freshman year. Throughout high school, Spencer has been involved in numerous sports, such as soccer, football, and tennis. As a senior Spencer is involved in the Eagle Core and serves as co-captain of the tennis team. Academically, Spencer has maintained a 4.0 all four years of high school, winning multiple rally and class awards. Furthermore, he is involved in NHS, Key Club, Quiz Bowl, MAC team, Spanish Club, and Music Ministry. Spencer is honored to have been chosen for Boys State and to have received leadership and service recognition awards. After graduation, Spencer plans to attend ULL to major in mechanical engineering. Spencer Elliot West CAROLINE Taylor Paul Yarbrough Taylor is escorted this evening by his parents James and Amy Yarbrough. Taylor has attended Menard since seventh grade. During this time, he has lettered in track & field and football. He has taken honors classes throughout high school and has been involved in Spanish Club, Key Club, and Columbia Squires. After graduation, Taylor plans to attend ULL to major in Kinesiology with the aspiration of becoming a physician’s assistant.
