*The Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management major has two

The Accounting Major and all Business Administration Concentrations
require:
A minimum all-college cumulative GPA of 2.5, including
grades from transfer courses
and
A CBE GPA of at least 2.3 in courses taken at Western
The Economics Major requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
in all college-level course work including any transfer work
The Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management Major
requires a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in the ten foundation
courses
Business-interest students should email the CBE pre-major advisor,
Teri Hall, at teri.hall@wwu.edu, to make an appointment for advising
following Summerstart.
Pre-major: Status is granted to students who have confirmed
admission to WWU, completed 45 credits, and earned a GPA of 2.5
overall and a 2.3 in the foundation courses they have completed.

Building an appropriate schedule
 Credit Load = average 14-16 credits (3-4 classes)
 Balance credit load, class types and sizes, and other commitments
 Plan time for out-of-class assignments and to study
 Pay attention to prerequisites and course sequencing
 Many majors such as Languages, Math, Science, Pre-Healthcare, and Engineering
should begin their coursework fall quarter to stay on track
Learning to develop a good schedule is a valuable skill for
academic success and to avoid making registration changes that
may affect financial aid/student loan eligibility.

1. Check your registration status—Talk to an advisor if you have holds.
2. Copy any GUR transfer credits onto your GUR Checklist.
3. Identify and find major requirements using the Catalog, or explore
majors of interest using GURs.
4. Look for open classes in ClassFinder that will fulfill GURs or Major
Requirements for fall quarter.
5. Create and print multiple fall quarter schedules, using ClassFinder’s
Scratch Sheet. If you are writing down your course schedules, don’t
forget to include the CRN – the 5-digit purple number used to
register for that class.

• Math Placement Test – 9:00am in FR 4 Sept. 22nd
• Spanish Placement Test – by appointment in MH 21
