Notes from Miss Leeanne:
We are having a blast! The first few weeks were dedicated to getting to know one
another and adjusting to the routine of the day. I am proud to say that we are doing
great! March will be fun-filled! We will be studying and experimenting with many new
things this month. Make space on your refrigerator parents, there will be a whole lot of
important work that you will want to display this month!

We have begun learning our colors
and shapes. Starting this month
we will study a new color and
shape every week.
We are constantly experimenting in the
classroom. In February we learned about
polar animals. This month we will have an Ant
Farm to observe. Ask your child about what
the ants do all day.
Literacy and Language
Circle Time Song
We are learning and will continue to learn
easy poems, songs and nursery rhymes.
This is a fun way to introduce your child
to the many different styles of writing.
The easy patterns will make it a cinch for
your child to remember and put your
child on the road to being a successful
reader and writer! Encourage your child
to sing or “read” these to you at home.
These are the first steps toward actual
reading.

Creative Arts
We are learning how to play
together and solve/work through
our problems.
We are learning that you can use many
mediums to paint and each medium is unique.
Parent Board:
Located in the cubby across from the Infant room
is our Parent Resource board. This will be an area
that allows us to communicate with you easily.
