January English Project – 7th Grade English
Directions:
1. With a pencil, draw the numbers 2013. This shape will be the outline where you will write your words.
2. Choose your best words, phrases, and sentences from your 2013 packet.
3. Around the edges of the numbers, write the words that you chose from your packet.
a. Around the 2 – write words/phrases from your top 20/bottom 13 list (minimum of 5)
b. Around the 0 – write compound sentences (minimum of 2)
c. Around the 1 – write complex sentences (minimum of 2)
d. Around the 3 – choose any information (words)from your packet
4. Go back and erase the pencil lines so that your words make the outline of each number.
5. Add color, decorations, flair…make it look good!
6. Complete the self-evaluation below and turn it in.
