Each week’s workout will be different. What to expect at these DBC-exclusive classes:

- spin bikes

- free weight strength training

- agility hurdles

- agility/speed ladders

- jump ropes

- weighted medicine balls

- battle ropes

- running, hopping, skipping, jumping

- many different means to cardiovascular health

- competitions of all shapes and sizes

How Do We Earn Points?

Participate in any local Polar Plunge – 20 points

DBC Practice (Remember to sign up for practice online!)-- 20 points/practice

 DBC Organized Activities (Yoga, 9Round Kickboxing, Pro Performance Athletics)-- 15 points/class

 Non-DBC Organized Activity—Exercise on your own (MINIMUM 30 Minutes!)—Every 30 minutes = 5 points **There is no limit to # points you may earn/day!!

 Picture of EVERY Team Member at the Same Workout (**only 1 team picture allowed/same workout)-- 50 points

 Spontaneously-Announced Challenges—TBA - point values will vary

**You may combine DBC-Organized and Non-DBC Organized points on the same day!

For example, if you go for a 30-minute bike ride (5 pts) AND attend DBC’s Yoga class (15 pts) on the same day, you earn 20 points.

Competition Rules

1.

If you have not submitted ANY points by January 10 th , you will be automatically

disqualified from the competition! Your Team Captain also has the ability to “DQ” any team member that has become inactive at any point during the competition!

2.

All team members will report to the Team Captain with their weekly list of points.

3.

Determine your Team's NAME (and perhaps a Team Chant and Mascot)!

4.

To earn points, each logged workout must be a MINIMUM of 30 minutes! (You may break up the 30 minutes of exercise over the course of the day…. For example, if you only have time to go for 2-15 minute walks, you still earn 5 points)! There is NO limit to # of points you may earn/day!

5.

MUST sign up for practice online in order to earn your 20 points!

6.

May only take 1 team picture/workout (i.e. To be eligible for another 50 points, the next team picture has to be of a different workout/activity).

7.

Spontaneously Announced Challenges: Earn BONUS points for participating in a spontaneous challenge that Monica, at random, will announce—Keeping you on your toes!

8.

Team-Initiated Spontaneous Challenges also STRONGLY encouraged! Your team may challenge the other teams to an organized activity of your choice.

9.

The team with the highest average number of points WINS--Winning Team, Results, &

Prizes will be announced/awarded at Gazebo Brunch on March 5 th !
