Definitions
S Synonym- a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the
same as another word or phrase in the same language.
S Authors use synonyms in their writing so the reader does not
get bored with the same word being used over and over again.
S Antonym- a word opposite in meaning to another word.
S Homograph- two or more words spelled the same but not
necessarily pronounced the same and each having different
meanings.

S A diamante poem is a poem that forms the shape of a
diamond. Using a diamante poem you can compare two
different items naming the synonym the top half and the
antonym on the bottom half.
