Domain 4 Scenario Activity Answer Sheet, Individual Reflection Note Taker (1 page
copied front/back, 1 per teacher)
4. Print, copy, cut apart Domain 4 Scenario Cards (1 set of cards needed for each group
of 3 training participants)
5. Print answer key for Professional Responsibility Scenarios Card Sort Activity for
reference by presenters (all answers also recorded in the notes section of the
powerpoint)
Procedure:
1. Open by posing this question: What do the words professional responsibility
mean to you? (individual—jot ideas, partner talk, table discussion, whole group
sharing)—8 minutes
2. Explore the components of Domain 4 Professional Responsibility—25 minutes
o Groups of 6
o Assign 1 component to each group member

o Each group member uses Explore Domain 4 graphic organizer to record
information about the assigned component
 Capture key words/characteristics
 Consider examples of strong practice
 Consider non-examples
o Discuss findings within groups of 6
o Each group records essential findings for each component to chart paper
o Share out by a couple of groups
3. Professional Responsibility Scenarios Card Sort Activity—20 minutes
o Groups of 3
o Read, discuss each scenario
o Match the scenario to the component to which it most closely relates, record
answers on Domain 4 Scenario Answer Sheet
o Whole group discussion of select scenarios (suggestions follow)
