These digital resources are designed for languages teachers to use with Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs).
This activity has been designed to consolidate Korean language in the topic area of telling the time.

Activity
Time flashcards
These flashcards can be used to introduce or consolidate the
vocabulary related to telling the time on the hour.
Students say a time in Korean and click on the corresponding digital
time box to reveal the word in Korean. The flashcards can also be
used for pronunciation practice drills.
Time anagram
This activity can be used to consolidate vocabulary related to time on
the hour.
Students click on 'Start' and rearrange the hangeul to make a time
word. Students can click on 'Clue' to reveal the time in English. Click
on 'Reset" to have another attempt.
Teachers can click 'Edit' to change the times.

Time memory game
This page has been designed to help students consolidate
vocabulary related to telling time.
The idea is to find matching pairs by turning over two cards. This
activity can be played individually, in pairs or in class teams.
Time: spelling
This activity has been designed to help students recognise the
hangeul spelling of time words in English.
Students can complete individually or in teams for the top score.
There are eight time words in English. Students find the correct
hangeul reading within the time limit to receive a time bonus. The
faster the time, the higher the points bonus.
Click on 'Edit' to change the questions and answers.

Time: choose the correct answer
This activity revises expressions used for telling the time. Students
will need to be familiar with telling the time on the hour, at half hour
intervals and in five and ten minute increments.
Students click on the moving images to pause it on a randomly
selected picture and then choose the sentence that best fits the
picture by clicking on one of three options. Students will see whether
their answer is correct or incorrect. The images will start rotating
again as soon as an answer is chosen.
Clocks
This activity is a consolidation of all expressions related to telling
time in hours and minutes. Students will need to be familiar with the
hangeul for numbers and times.
Students read the time underneath each clock face then click and
drag the clock hands into place. Rotate them by clicking on the hand
and moving the green button.
