NAVAL AIR TEST CENTER, ROTARY WING AIRCRAFT TEST DIRECTORATE
Lead Test Pilot/Flight Test Model Manager: H-53 Aircraft, H-53 and H-60 Project Officer/Project Pilot:
Attack/Assault and Sea Control Aircraft Programs
– Coordinated and planned the flight test programs for all H-53 models and series, both Marine Corps and Navy.
– Led numerous test programs on a variety of Marine Corps and Navy aircraft, to include support to rapid test and
certification efforts for aircraft deployed in support of Desert Storm.
– Supported numerous Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) system flight test evaluations.
– One of three pilots supporting the Proof-of-Concept Mid-Air Retrieval flight test demonstration, which involved a highly
modified SH-60B and the mid-air capture and recovery of a medium endurance unmanned fixed wing aircraft.
Lead Test Pilot/Project Officer/Project Pilot: YMH-60K (Pre-Production Prototype)
– Led the development and execution of flight tests to qualify this Army prototype special operations aircraft for day
and night, as well as night vision goggle shipboard operations. Developed the low airspeed profile for this aircraft in
multiple configurations.
