Director of Retail Operations – Woodinville, WA Washington Wine and Beverage Company (WWBC), the largest locally and community owned wine group in the Northwest - harvesting, producing and selling over 40,000 cases of wine under the brand names, Silver Lake Winery, Girly Girl Wines, Glen Fiona Wines, Leone Wines and Brown Box Wines, is seeking an individual to lead its direct sales efforts in Woodinville, WA. This individual must have the skills and experience required to manage the company’s wine club, donation program, private label offerings, and internet sales. The qualified candidate must be sales driven, entrepreneurial, highly organized, artistic, and an efficient leader with a relentless customer focus. We desire a person with an engaging personality who enjoys hospitality, marketing and selling wine. This person will ensure the successful planning and flawless execution of our direct sales operation including various events and promotions and must display extraordinary follow-through, organization and multi-task skills as well as plan and manage time effectively. A background in customer service, and a warm, upbeat, can-do attitude are essential. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the Company’s tasting rooms with direct involvement at the Woodinville site. Maintain all customer databases including wine club, wine competition and review, volunteer, and shareholder to insure accuracy of current information Oversee, manage and grow the company’s wine club program including the solicitation of new members, the maintenance of the wine club database and keeping member information current Coordination, logistics and attending the wine club pick-up party Coordinate and oversee special shareholder and private tasting event logistics. Oversee, coordinate, staff, and at times attend off-site wine events Manage and execute all advertisement for the tasting rooms and other direct sales programs to include print advertising, social media, DVDs and direct marketing materials. Oversee and manage annual advertising timeline and corresponding deliverables Maintain the company volunteer databases and coordination Manage the solicitation and execution of the wine donation program including the production of custom labels Manage and oversee the company’s wine competition and review programs Produce and distribute a company newsletter, a wine club newsletter and special offers and events via Constant Contact. Maintain and update the company website(s) via WordPress Broaden social networking efforts including Facebook and Twitter to increase customer awareness and participation. Oversee and coordinate online sales including the management of internet advertising Provide event direction and graphic support to Woodinville and Zillah staff. Other duties as required Position Requirements: Education/Certification: BA, BBA or related college degree; Required Knowledge & Experience Strong organizational skills including time management and the ability to plan and coordinate work; Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading Strong computer skills including the ability to maintain databases Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) Solid knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Basic web site building and maintenance; HTML knowledge is a plus Familiarity with the operation of WordPress Familiarity with the operation of Constant Contact Familiarity with the management of social media sites including Facebook and Twitter Ability to work weekends and some evenings.
