 Morality is the principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad
behavior as set by each individual.

 Research a British Literature novel or excerpt that you have not read that
sounds interesting and be prepared to write a summary about it on

 Imagine you went to an interview and they told you that your skin color or
gender disqualified you from the job. What would you say, do and feel?
According to your notes from student presentations, around what year did

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 26 TH JUNIORS
 Work on your speeches for the Declaration of Independence or Women’s
Rights Convention. Whichever side you are opposing, you need to have at
least two things to say/debate!
Make sure your vocabulary and literary terms are complete
and ready to be checked tomorrow
Have all journals completed and ready to be turned in
tomorrow
Study for all quizzes!

Rhetoric is a technique that an author or speaker uses to convey to the
listener or reader a meaning with the goal of persuading him or her towards
considering a topic from a different perspective. How did Beowulf use
Rhetoric?
After you have completed this journal, turn in all journals for
February. If we skipped a day or were out, make sure you
have those dates and what we did or state that we were out
so that I do not accidently take off! Turn all of them in when
you are done with your name on the first paper and dates at
the top of every paper. They should be in chronological (oldest
to newest) order!
