Teachers will become more comfortable with implementing technology
when teaching the common core by using all types of technology. The
number of teacher’s implementing ipads in the classroom during their
assigned grade level time will be 90% for the 2014-15 school year.
Teachers will participate in collaborative planning and training on using the
new-ipads and will learn of new Apps to utilize with their students and will
implement them in their classroom

The number of Addison third, fourth and fifth grade students in all
student groups scoring a meets or exceeds standard in science on the
2015 Georgia Milestone Assessment will increase as we embed the
close reading strategy in science instruction during the 2014-2015
school year.”
We will complete a book study on the book “For the Love of Close Reading” and
implement the close reading strategy when integrating reading with science
content.

The number of 3rd-5th grade Addison students in all student groups
who meet or exceed standards in math will increase from 93% to
95% overall as measured by the End of Grade tests at the end of the
2014-15 school year.
Teachers will select a math standard for their grade level. They will make a
common formative and common summative assessment. They will give their
students a pre- test, and will look at strengths and weaknesses and use that
data to drive their instruction.

with vertical teams and with the 6th grade teachers at Daniell middle
school to increase student achievement weekly throughout the school
