Latitude Lines (Parallels)
- divides into two hemispheres at the equator
- North And South; lines run from 0-90 degrees
Special Latitudinal Lines
- At 23.5 degrees North – Tropic of Cancer
- At 23.5 degrees South – Tropic of Capricorn

- divide the earth into East and West
