Email support from Dale Hair and Nikki Gamble Summary of key areas of focus for the affiliate for the next academic year (2013-14): o Marketing and Communicating through Regional Education Associations o Continued communication on the new LF PL Standards o The President and President-Elect have requested a meeting with the State Superintendent to move the PL Standards from “endorsed” to “adopted”. The proposed meeting is scheduled for October 16, 2013. 1 o o o Marketing at the North Dakota Teachers’ Association state convention. Host second annual LFND State Conference in Bismarck, ND, on November 14-15 Establishing a network with Manitoba as they will be invited to our state conference. What support do you want from Learning Forward to accomplish next year’s focus: o All the information I received at the State Affiliates Conference was tremendous! o Free day of service for keynote (John Eyolfson will be with us in Nov. 2013) o Webinars when applicable Membership Attachments (Attachments can be emailed electronically to Niki Gamble) Annual dues: $ 99 (this pays for the state conference as well) Current number of members: 90 1.
