Students who have been successful on NCLEX have reported using ATI materials for preparation. Other curriculum changes may have also contributed to the increase in NCLEX results (increased exam percentages). Future predictions: new ATI NCLEX review course will work in combination with ATI materials to help students prepare for NCLEX (review course will not be mandatory). GOAL 2 Increase Retention by Incorporating ATI into the Nursing Curriculum Administer ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) to first semester nursing students, identify students at risk, and establish a plan for success. (tutoring) Monitor students progress throughout the curriculum by administering content mastery exams and set appropriate benchmarks. Establish structured remediation plan for individual students based on content mastery (Fall 2006). GOAL 3 Program Evaluation Track aggregated curricular content data. Review curriculum based on data collected and NCLEX blueprint. Continue to utilize materials to reinforce students understanding of ATI utilization. Each nursing faculty member will incorporate one ATI activity into their course.
