Prominence Health Name Now Official
The corporate documents changing the name of CollabHealth Managed
Solutions to Prominence Health, and changing CollabHealth Plan
Services, Inc. to Prominence Health Plan Services, have been filed. The
new Prominence Health names may now be used. CHI plans to formally
announce the Prominence Health brand externally in July.
Through the Prominence Health subsidiaries, CHI is developing,
operating and marketing health program administration capabilities and
innovative market products, including commercial and Medicare
Advantage health plans, in a growing number of CHI markets.
Prominence Health is an expression of how CHI is reinventing itself for
the next era as a fully-integrated health system, creating superior value
and exceptional health for communities served. CollabHealth was
rebranded because the Prominence Health name was found to be more
appealing to potential customer groups and a more apt reflection of the
spirit and attributes of the organization. For more information,

Support Services Transformation Presentation
Available on Inside CHI
A June 9 Leadership Update on CHI's Support Services Transformation is available on the Support
Services Transformation page of Inside CHI. About 400 leaders from across the enterprise participated in
the session, which presented an overview of the current health care environment and CHI’s approach to
creating an effective, efficient infrastructure for support services.
Key points included:





The Support Services Transformation is based in CHI's mission; CHI must be transformed in order
to deliver high-quality care and services at lower cost to patients, consumers and communities. This
will include changes to operating structure, service standards, decision-making and decision rights.
This work must be transformational, not incremental, to move combined overhead costs (national,
divisional and local) from 14% to 12%.
Preliminary observations show opportunities to consolidate functions, remove redundancies across
national, divisional and local groups; and make reporting relationships more consistent.
Recommendations will be presented to executive leaders and to CHI's leadership groups, including
the President’s Council, Operations Leadership Group and Operations Team.
National group leaders will work with divisional and local leaders to redesign and implement support
services functions.
It is anticipated that the transformation of support services infrastructure will show cost savings of $125
million in FY2015 and result in annual savings of $250 million. This work is likely to take 24 to 30 months.
Support Services Transformation is one issue of critical importance highlighted in CHI's FY2015 budget.
Others include continuation and expansion of Clinical and Operational Excellence initiatives, specific
market improvements, growth in current markets, physician enterprise improvements and quarterly
financial indicator measurements. Submit questions to supportservicestransformation@catholichealth.net.
CHI Accepted by National Clinical Trials Network Group
CHI has been accepted as a main member by NRG Oncology, Philadelphia, PA, a major group in the
National Cancer Institute's National Clinical Trials Network. This will give CHI's cancer centers access to
a broad repertoire of cooperative group trials and make it possible for CHI physicians to become active
participants in shaping future trials. For more information, contact Dax Kurbegov, MD.
Corporate American Express Card
Renewals
As of July 31, many CHI corporate American Express credit cards
will expire. Employees who hold these cards will receive
replacement cards at the mailing addresses listed for them
in HR/Payroll Connection. The replacement cards, using the same
account numbers, will be sent by July 15. Employees who receive
new cards may need to update their card expiration dates in
existing profiles, such as Concur profiles.
Employees with a card set to expire should visit HR/Payroll
Connection to confirm that their mailing address is correct. This
should be done as soon as possible but no later than end of day on
June 20. Employees who receive new cards should immediately
activate them, following the instructions included, and destroy their
old cards. Employees whose cards will expire who do not receive a
replacement card by July 26 should contact American Express, 1800-528-2122. American Express will issue a new card and send it
via overnight mail.
For more information, contact the Accounts Payable Support Center, 1-866-731-3267, option 2.
New Issue of COE Momentum Available
A new issue of Momentum, a monthly update on CHI’s Clinical and Operational Excellence
transformation, is now available on the COE page on Inside CHI. June’s edition shares how CHI
Nebraska facilities are driving dramatic savings and ensuring excellent quality by adopting bold, singlevendor contracting arrangements for certain cardiovascular devices. The COE page also offers a place to
subscribe to Momentum and additional resources, including a regularly-updated graphic that shows the
year-to-date and cumulative financial impact of CHI’s COE efforts.
Enroll Now in CHI Secure Access
Two-factor Authentication
CHI is adding an extra layer of security for remote
access to Citrix applications such as Allscripts,
Cerner, Clinician Valet, Epic, Extranet, PACS,
Powerchart, Meditech, McKesson and MD Valet.
Two-factor Authentication requires a user’s system
log-in – the first factor – and the user’s response to a
choice of a cell phone call, text message or mobile
app verification – the second factor – to authenticate
the user. Two-factor Authentication does not apply when accessing the CHI network from inside a CHI
hospital, connected clinic or national office, and does not apply to VPN access at this time.
To be able to access Citrix applications remotely, enroll in Two-factor authentication before June 20. Click
on the enrollment link, located on the main Citrix application page (available at webapps.catholichealth.
net and acis.catholichealth.net), after you finish logging in. Enrollment links are also available on the CHI
Secure Access page of Inside CHI and on local intranets.
Employees who have questions that are not answered by the resources on the CHI Secure Access page
of Inside CHI are encouraged to call in to a daily support session to receive help from the project team:
Secure Access Two-factor Authentication Support Sessions
