PERSONAL STATEMENT
I’m a web developer and graphical designer from Manchester, United Kingdom. I’m currently studying for a Web Development BSc(Hons)
degree with a concentration in web design, at Staffordshire University. I’ve worked with some great clients over the years. Most recent
including Digital Eyes Media, Staffordshire Living, SchoolSpider and Outstanding Resources .
During the day I work as a Freelance website developer and graphical artist. I also work out-of-house for School software company
SchoolSpider designing, creating and curating 100’s of Primary School websites. At night and on the weekends, you’ll probably find me out
and about, either riding my custom Haro around the local skatepark or battling to keep my title as Beer Pong champion.
I design primarily using a combination of sketching, wire framing and Photoshop and Illustrator. I write front and back-end markup using
Atom, constantly hacking away at extensions to streamline development. I’ve had experience writing HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP and
most recently Node.js.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
Just a few of my interests include BMX, marketing, art, music, and Apple branded products. One of my biggest interests is User Experience and
User Interface design. Growing up with Grandparents I have witnessed first hand confusion and frustration that’s caused by bad UX/UI design.
I have been a member of the UserTesting panel for two years, completing over 100 usability tests.

TATTOO ART – I’m an avid collector of all things related to tattoos. Guns, magazines, flash cards, signed memorabilia etc. I’ve also spent
the past year planning out a full sleeve tattoo that I hope to eventually book in for.

MUSIC – I didn’t start listening to music till my teen years but ever since I’ve gone through so many phases I almost lost any sense of
identity. I’m safe & secure now luckily but spend a lot of time creating the perfect Spotify playlist for every mood & occasion.

READING – I may just be one of the only under 25s in possession of a Kindle. It’s one of few non-Apple branded essentials that I own. I like
reading a lot about psychology, the study of human relationships and just general trivia for the occasional party trick.
