SWBAT: Make observations of fast plant seed pods and roots
-update graph – qualitative and quantitative observations
-share leaf vein patterns on air server (optional)
-sketch and label the life cycle of the fast plant for use on the test
-reinforce fast plant anatomy

SWBAT: describe the structure of leaves and where photosynthesis occurs
-differentiate between the tops of leaves and the bottoms of leaves
-explain how water is taken from the ground and transported to the leaves.
-how is sugar, made from the process of photosynthesis, transported to the roots
-identify vein patterns in leaves and try to find real life examples – photograph both the leaves and the whole plant
and label the type of vein pattern when possible. Try to get an example for each, but don’t stress if you can’t. These
will be stamped Thursday.
