The US Navy is a large SAP customer, and
it needs a BI solution for its SAP (and nonSAP) data, for the same reasons
commercial customers do. Naval Supply
Systems Command (NAVSUP-BSC) led the
Navy’s effort to integrate multiple
commands’ SAP data into a consolidated
warehouse.

AGR Provided PM and Lead architecture support
on this effort to design and implement a BI solution
for the Secretary of the Navy, Office of Financial
Operations (FMO) with the capability to analyze
financial data in support of the Navy financial
auditability mandate. Assisted NAVSUP BSC to
provide audit readiness support regarding Standard
Accounting and Reporting System (STARS) data
and providing monthly briefings to the Assistant
Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management and
Comptroller (ASN[FM&C]).
Supervised Research & Development efforts that
bring together partner technologies to create
solutions to solve complex customer challenges.
Loaded STARS data into Netezza appliance and
brought down the queries runtime from 11 hours
each to less than 5 seconds each.
Built capabilities for end users to interact with this
data through SAP Business Objects and through
direct SQL query engine using Netezza native
PostgreSQL language platform. Setup a program
for mentoring and knowledge transfer to BSC
civilian staff. Demonstrated Data.

which we assisted Chrysler personnel in maintaining the
project master schedule, detail reporting, change board
governance, technical documentation, and project auditing.
• Our team took the lead in developing a rapid prototype using
our methodology and including interface simulations to legacy
systems and conversion assist programs. The prototype was
rolled out at three dealerships in different geographic regions
and became a production pilot for the entire dealer network. In
this capacity we architected the data base, performed
complete cycle applications development, engineered the
interface specifications, and performed systems integration
testing.
• The program for full scale development progressed and was
transitioned to internal Chrysler personnel. Our team moved
into the lead role of metric analytics, KPI's, Data acquisition,
data warehousing, and output creation for data visualization.
