Dear students:
A very warm welcome to all of you joining the Biochemistry family. You have just started a
new chapter of your life and I believe we have much to offer you and nurture you becoming a
bachelor with solid scientific training to serve the society.
Obviously, you have made a wise choice to major in Biochemistry. Whether you are a local
or non-local student, we are in the same family and our dream is to aim high and achieve academic
excellence to contribute to our society and humankind as a whole. We are committed to provide the
highest quality of teaching of Biochemistry which enables you to possess, when you graduate,
critical thinking, proactive and responsible attitude, efficient communication skills, a mastery of the
skills of the latest high technology, and a solid background in the basic concepts of biochemistry
with specialized training in a specific field or area of research.
This quick-guide contains information about the curriculum design and course arrangements
in our B.Sc. Program. Do not hesitate to contact our staff in the Department when you have any
