It’s My Life

My name is Judy. Of course this is my English name, my real Korean
name is Seo-young Koh. This name has special meaning in Korea. My first name
means ‘good omen’ And my English name ‘Judy’ is an affectionate name of ‘Judith’.
I was born in Seoul, since 15 years ago. My birth day is January 26. I
had middle school third grade before came here.
My blood type is AB. Almost Korean know their blood type, after then
they born. So one day, I and my Korean friends were checking our personality from
blood type. That checking lists were said to me ‘silly or genius’ I didn’t thought I’m a
silly girl. But sometimes people said to me, “why are you act hastily!” or “you are so
unexpected!” or “you look like the fourth dimension 1 person!” So my nickname is
‘alien2’ in Korea. But I think my character is lively. That’s all!! I just have affirmative
personal type. In my family, no one have blood type of AB. Sometimes I thought why I
had blood type ‘AB’, but really I don’t know why.

I have a lot of favorite things until this time. First I love all kink of music.
My favorite kind of music is k-pop and classical music. That music helps to me be able
to make powerful mind and make my mind to calm, when I was upset or worried. I can
forget anger things during listening to the fast beat music like k-pop. That has many
fast beat dance music. And I can forget worried things during listening to the classical
music. It makes my mind to calmly. I love to play music, too. I began to study how to
play the piano when I was 7 years old. But I couldn’t play well, because my hands are
not enough to play the piano. My hands were so small, so I couldn’t touch all of
keyboard in the piano. Anyway, I found what I need very much in my teenager life, that
is a violin. When I was elementary school ( I was just third grade), I saw a small concert
in my school. That is performance for school festival3, but I didn’t know that fact. So I
just thought
‘Wow that sounds so great! I want to learn about that instrument!’
After all, I teased my mother and I can learn the violin. I was very happy, and I really
practice hard. Now I can play not bad. I want to play more until my all life. That helps to
my mind be make to comfortable, when I was upset or worried about something. Play
myself is more helps to me, at least just for me. And other side, I like fast beat like
dance k-pop music. My favorite group in Korea is ‘Infinite’ and ‘T-ara’. The first one is
boy group, and second group is a girl group. I love their songs, and here is some title of
their songs. <Infinite>: ‘I want you’, ‘nothings over’, ’paradise4’. <T-ara>: ‘rolly-polly’,
‘cry cry’, ‘lovey-dovey’. I just like their music type. So I every day listened their songs. I
listening their music in the internet or on TV programs or with radio and CD. But I

couldn’t go to the any concert, because always when the concert started, I have a mid
or final test in my school. I was so miserable5 always during the test by the concerts.
Second, I love eating something to sweet, like chocolate and some candy.
But I don’t like strawberry taste. I don’t know why before, but now I have an answer
about that problem. Why? Because when I was sick, I was young, every doctor gave
me a syrup medicine, what taste it is! It is always red strawberry taste! So I think that is
the reason about why I don’t like the strawberry taste some sweet things. I felt so sticky
syrup smell in it!
Third, I love to go to somewhere. In the country or other country or just
around my apartment…I love any travel. When I was lived in Korea to ‘Yeosu’ it is
nearby the south sea. I can see the
beach in my house and school. It has
so long street beside the sea road. I
didn’t know that place is beautiful, but I
had moved in Seoul, I can felt empty.
Anyway in my big travel, it is the China
travel.
That
is
important
to
me
because just I and my aunt visited
China. Only she and me! And that time I was just 8 years old. But I thought, it was so
fantastic to me, before that time I didn’t go to travel only me. And the best travel in my
life is the ‘Busan’ travel. Also that travel had 8 years old. I went to aquarium, museum
and I saw a fireworks6 every day during the travel.

Forth, I like drawing the picture with listening to the music in my free time.
I draw all kinds of things. I mean just draw, not very well like artist. But I really like
drawing. My mother’ works tend to me, because she practiced art all day when I was
baby.
My favorite things are same of my hobby. So listening the music, eating,
have travel and drawing the pictures are my hobby. But the addition, I like exercising.
For example, I can play badminton or skate and swimming in the pool. I want to have a
healthy body and not a fat. I don’t want a miss choice at my life about the health.
My hate things are very simple. Turn off the music what I listening and
talk to aloud person is my hate type of people. I don’t have any problem in my life just
pull out that person. Who shouted to me, I really hate them. And I don’t like loud sound
like electric guitar’ beating. And another side, I don’t like spicy pepper. It was terrible to
me. I can not endure 7that taste to my tongue.
In my elementary school life, during the 6 years, I had so many dreams
and hope ‘I want to be a scientist, I want to fly to the sky, I want to eating chocolates all
day’ like that wishes. And I always had perfect score in school test. And the little
happening came to my final elementary school life. That happen was I passed an
examination8 about the specific education for brilliant children. That happened when I
was 6 grade. I was very happy, because I shouldn’t go middle school all day. I want to
play and freedom. So I didn’t study anything during that one year. During that one year,
I really play all day. I play with my friends almost went to city park or cinema or a
singing room and amusement park or beach and went to shopping at a department

store. I think really crazy at that time. If I study in that time I’m better than now. Anyway
then I felt freedom, my father has official announcement 9at to Seoul. That is an
opportunity10 for me! Our family moved to Seoul, and I can go new school in there. And
an addition, I can make new friends to good for me. In that manner, I can restart to
study. I missed my old friends so much, however I could very fast to adaptation11 at the
new school.
My favorite book writer is JK Rolling. She is so famous form the Harry
Potter series. I started to read that 12years old, so my book type is novel (fiction). That
helps my mind to healthy and powerful. Because I can get many thinks about the
fictions. And She (JK Rolling) made my brain how to write fictions. In my elementary life,
I wrote some stories about fiction. That is almost comics, but I was satisfied.
I have a just one drama what I need, what I loved, what I crazy of that
drama. That has a motive in classic and
the character was making so large
syndrome at that time. Each characters
speeches were trends for people. This
drama name is ‘Beethoven Virus’. It was
broadcast in ‘MBC’ on 2008. In that
drama’ actor and actress were famous
before then the drama. The main
characters are Kim meoung-min, E-jiah and Jang geun-seok, Kim meoung-min was
famous about ‘Behind the white tower’, and E-jiah was famous of the drama with Bae9

yong-jun in ‘Tae-wang-sa-sin-gi’ . I loved them before the drama, so I don’t have any
hesitated. I just saw it! The story is the sense for the real and it has personality and
humanism. I recommend that drama. In 2008 drama awards in Korea, they had many
prizes. That drama has so many fans, and had many fan cafés in the internet site by
site. Of course I have a one café in ‘naver’ –the famous site of in Korea. Until now, over
than 2 million fans are acting in that café. Many people want to season 2 about that
drama, and I am too. I had so a lot of thinking for that drama. That drama’ main
character said
“Not complete the dream, you just have a dream.”
This speech is my memorial things in that drama. ‘Beethoven Virus’ took many kinds of
prizes in each award. At the Korean drama awards, final awards, and Dae-jong prize
gave another kind of prizes for them. For example like ‘best couple prize’, ‘years of
drama’. And the main character Kim meoung-min took a MBC best image. It’s the first
interested drama and gave me so many sayings for me. I cannot forget the drama until
I living in this world.
I couldn’t watching another country’ drama. So I don’t know others. But I
often saw a movie. Like ‘Harry potter’, ‘taken’, ‘In time’…… And I like Japanese
animation movie. I know who are famous animation

director 13 in Japan, he is
‘Miyazaki hayao’. I just know his movies about the Japanese movie.
However, I saw all movie who acting in that movie I like that person. It is
same of the song or drama. I like fantasy type at the music. Although the best movie to

me, is the ‘Harry potter’ series. Because of ‘JK Rolling’ . I respect14 her. The ‘Harry
potter’ gives to me a new thought, what I could make a new view.
After
the
middle
school
grade 1, I had a transfer from one school
to another. I can study more and play more
than before. Because the big amusement
park

is nearby my city. So I finished the
test, I went to amusement park by the
subway. I could took off the stress about
the test and mother’ scolding16, with my friends. In Korea has big amusement parks.
That names are ‘Lotte-world’ and ‘Everland’. Lotte world is little bit bigger than Everland,
but we want to feel scarry and not to long way to go there. We are just students, so
actually, we don’t have enough money for the transports to go there. Anyway while we
play at there, we spare17 our money. And then we did venture, like a little casino. Then
we can take money at least then before. Sometimes we got the faults, that day we
cannot buy any snacks.
