Caterpillar Dealers Used Parts Association “Second Life” 32 . Addition –February 2006 nd CDUPA Mission Statement Provide a forum for the exchange of technical information, education, knowledge and professionalism by promoting new ideas to the benefit Of all Caterpillar Used Parts Dealers. There are two changes to the current board: Tim Perkins resigned as Vice President Matt Washic resigned from the board Tim and Matt have accepted positions within their respective dealerships. If you speak with Tim or Matt please let them know your appreciation for their involvement in CDUPA. We wish them the best for the future at their dealerships. The board will have an announcement in March on the replacement for Vice President. These are two big losses for the current board, so we are going to need you and your ideas at this years meeting! On February 2nd 2006 the current board held a phone conference to discuss and set the tentative agenda for this year’s CDUPA meeting. This is your meeting; please let any board member or officer know if you have suggestions or topics you want to add to the conference. This year’s meeting is going to have a great presentation with discussion on reusability guidelines in the Used Parts business. Please think about all of the difficulties or issues you’ve had with reusability and bring them to the table. This is one of the major concerns we have with our day-to-day business. An email was sent to you in regards to holding a Used Parts University. If you are interested please respond A.S.A.P.; if we have enough response it will be held on Tuesday June 13th. Our group is growing; we have interest from thirteen overseas dealers on attending this year’s meeting. Any conversation you have with any dealer about the Association will help our group grow! See the attached tentative agenda for the meeting in Birmingham. -1- Current CDUPA News: Please extend a CDUPA welcome to Mark Durgin at Milton Cat.
