SUMMARY:
Over 9 years experience managing customer-facing websites; producing professional-grade web layout and design; and developing intuitive
interactive web applications. Relocation expenses not required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Able to work in
conjunction with several departments and with multiple stakeholders. Skills I've developed include excellence at cross-group coordination,
dealing with and leading through the ambiguity of complex projects, building up team members, and customer focus + engagement. I enjoy
creating & conducting training classes for end users to ensure successful product deployment. Industry experience includes Healthcare,
financial, Oil/Gas/Energy, educational, telecommunications. Team lead for several large corporate intranet conversions (including BMC
Software and Kelsey-Seybold).
SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR & DEVELOPER - WSS 3.0 / 2007 / 2010 / AND INFOPATH FORMS
SharePoint Admin and Developer including InfoPath for Chevron, BP, Suez Energy, and Kelsey-Seybold. Extensive use of InfoPath Forms,
HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Home Site, Web Design, Content Management, Video Production, Graphics Development, Intranet
Design & 508 Certified (Handicap Accessibility). Develop technical documentation. Designed and developed InfoPath forms and workflows
to support a new call-center issue tracking management system (Utilized Wiki’s in the training section of my program). Web services and
forms were designed to be very loosely-coupled, necessitating a good deal of specialized logic within the InfoPath form code-behind.
Using SharePoint Designer 2007 and secure network ID's from Active Directory, I was able to deploy an InfoPath form based approval
process. The form was used for employees to order communications devices. The automated movement of the documents reduced the
down-time in the ordering process, and allowed a paperless trail for auditing inventory (for devices). My workflows would attach to
documents in a SharePoint library that routes the document to a group of people for approval. Upon the creation of the request, the
workflow created document approval tasks, assigned those tasks to the workflow participants, and then sent e-mail message alerts to the
participants that include task instructions and a link to the document to be approved. The VP would be auto-notified by email to give his
approval, ONLY if all required steps were already met. While the workflow was in progress, I gave the Managers and VP a "Workflow
Status" page to see which participants had completed their workflow tasks. (or who had not) When everyone completed their workflow
tasks, the workflow ended, and the owner was automatically notified that the workflow is complete. (Along with the wireless team who
dispatches devices). Design / Development of SharePoint solutions for Intranet, Web Forms, Wiki and Document Management. Highly
effective at serving "web-enabled" InfoPath forms to avoid user compatibility issues, along with custom Work flows, and data extraction.
