of East Grinstead or Mid-Sussex South CVS. Prices for non-members still offer very good
value for money.

Keep it clean – Basic Food Safety Awareness
Date: 5 February 2015
Time: 10.00am-1.00pm (half day)
Venue: Mid-Sussex South CVS, Church Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 9AE
Training provided by McCrudden Training
Target Audience: This short course is ideal for anyone who comes into contact with or
handles food (including pre-packed foods) as part of their job. (This course is not suitable
for kitchen supervisors. Those in charge of food environments should complete the Level
3 Award in Food Safety.)
Overview: Food hygiene regulations set out the basic standards for any workers handling
food (including pre-packaged foods). The regulations require that food handling staff
should receive food hygiene training. Failing to adequately train staff has lead to a number
of organisations receiving enforcement notices, low hygiene ratings and ultimately fines.
Food hygiene training ensures your diners (and your reputation) are protected from food
poisoning and your organisation is protected from sanctions.
