The training requirements were designed so that they would fulfill the DRA’s provisions, and the requirements were referenced in many of the State Plan Amendments (SPAs) submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) by states implementing Partnership programs. The LTC Partnership is a dollar for dollar protection of assets against Medicaid spend down. For every dollar paid out of a qualified LTC Partnership policy is a dollar of assets protected from Medicaid spend down. This becomes a very big deal when it comes to our KS farmers and business owners and families when a loved one needs extended care due to an illness, injury or just the natural aging process. So with that being said, we are excited to offer you the chance to become LTC certified and receive 4 hrs of L/H continuing education credits.
