Lockers
All students are assigned individual small lockers. Students are not allowed to share lockers, nor should they share locker
combinations with anyone. Tall lockers may only be used during a student’s class. Locks left on tall lockers will be
removed at the end of the day.
Physical Education Excuse Policy




Medical excuses must be signed by a doctor and must include a beginning and an ending date. If you are
medically excused from participating in Physical Education, you are ineligible for participation in all athletic
activities.
Medically excused students are responsible for completing weekly assignments. Students will be graded on a
pass/fail basis.
For full marking period courses, two (2) parent’s notes are accepted.
For half marking period courses, one (1) parent’s note is accepted.
Absences
Since Physical Education is a participatory course, attendance and participation are vital to the success of every student.
Unexcused absences will negatively impact a student’s grade in class. If a student has an excused absence, she or he may
make up a class on Wednesdays from 2:45 to 3:45 PM (schedule TBA). These opportunities are for students with
excused absences only. If students incur cuts or are unprepared for class, they cannot be made up during these sessions.
It is the expectation that all excused absences from class should be made up (including music lessons).
I have read the SBHS grading policy and fully understand these expectations, procedures and consequences.
