year (Statistical Year)
The statistical year used in the federal courts runs from July through June (for example,
SY84 covers the period July 1, 1983 through June 30, 1984). Due to reporting time lags,
there is often a slight skew to the correspondence between calendar date and statistical
year at the borders of the statistical year.
