Manufacturing technique and process parameter development are required for establishing production procedures for new or modified CVS designs. Environmental, safety, health, and housekeeping issues must be addressed proactively. In addition, this position is required to perform statistical trending analyses of critical CVS attributes to evaluate product conformity to specification requirements and identify changes from the nominal dimensional measurements. Qualifications Required: Position requires a minimum of a B.S. Degree in Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of experience of working with manufacturing processes and testing associated with fabricating refractory metal alloys and precision components. The position requires a background in materials characterization methods and analyses. Experience with hightemperature vacuum furnace heat treating, metal forming, machining, welding, dimensional inspection, and chemical cleaning are important to the position.
