(This month’s Cub Scout theme is “Baloo Skies.” Cub Scouts all over the United States will be using this
theme as the focus of their meetings and activities this month.)
March 7th and 21st Den 11 Meetings:
SUZANNE’S HOUSE AFTER SCHOOL
Dues: Bring your $2.00 of “Cub Cash” to our meeting.
Things to do at home: Your child should have completed Achievements 1, 5, 6, 9, 10,
12, 13, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 24 by now. Many of these were completed at our meetings, but some (those
in BOLD) are to be completed with family. Please do not fall behind! Please pick a day this week to go

March 9, 10, and 11th Camp Tahquitz

about what to bring. The trip costs $25 per person. If you would like to drive up for Saturday only (not
spending the night) the cost is $10 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. PLEASE come to this event. It is
really fun.
March 14th Police Helicopter
We will visit the Long Beach Police Helicopter immediately after school. The Wolf Den from Burcham
invited us to this event so please call Cecilia Dena @ 562-233-3663 or 562-627-1015. Mary Liner, April
Thomas, and Suzanne Caverly will chaperone for Den 11. If you help out, call me ASAP.
March 16th PACK MEETING !!!!!NEWS FLASH!!!!!
Please plan to meet at my house at about 6:00. It is important that ALL of our boys attend this pack
meeting because our den is HOSTING. If you are planning to send your son to the meeting with me,
please let me know ahead of time and send a few dollars with your child for Ice Cream after the meeting.

RIGHT PAW ALERT:
So far this is our right paw “score” Potter-3, Caley-3, Drake-2, Thomas-2. Mary Liner has offered to help
out at our meeting March 7th, but we are without a helper for the rest of the year’s meetings. Remember,
each family is asked to come to the meeting and serve the boys at three meetings per year. We have 18
meetings per year and 8 families (I am at all of the meetings, so I don’t count in this math problem.) Yes, a
couple of families only have to serve twice. Please look at the list of remaining meetings and call me to
sign up. March 21, April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16, May 30 (I’d like another parent to help me supervise
the boys at Wardlow park for this last meeting.) Call or email me!!!!! Thanks. Your boys are awesome!
