This course is for beginners who have a little acquaintance with the Japanese language. Also, in this course, students develop fundamental skill of speaking and listening, reading and writing in Japanese sentences that they built up in Japanese for Beginners1. In addition to grammars thet student learned in the previous course, they learn essential expressions in daily Japanese life. The students are expected to speak and read those essential sentences more fluently than before. In the realm of writing, after making certain two phonograms, hiragana and katakana, the students start learning an ideogram,kanji( Chinese character ). At the end of the course, the students know about general knowledge of kanji and should be able to write some of basic kanji. 2. METHODOLOGY ・Students practice Japanese by activities that are done with visual aids of by means of pair works, group works, imagining the real situation. ・As a preview, sutents have to check new vocabulary in each lesson in the text and read the grammer explanation that is learned on the day in advance. ・As a review, students have to do some pages of WorkBook at home. NOTE ・Use as much Japanese as possible Students have to try to SPEAK IN JAPANESE, using the words, expressions, and grammer already learned. If you use English or Spanish frequently in class for what can be expressed in Japanese, it will affect your “ class performance ” points. ・Preview and Review to master what is learned on the day. Preview and Review steadily so that you can use what you learned on the day.
