Auction Rules
Rules for the Live Auction
1.
Please take a seat during the auction so the spotters and auctioneer can see the bidders.
2.
The auction will move quickly, so review the items that interest you prior to the auction
and bid decisively.
3.
If you are bidding please participate loud and clear.
4.
If you are the successful bidder, please let auctioneer see your bid number.
Please take your bid number to the register after bidding; you will receive a receipt
after checking out and your items have been paid for.

Rules for the Silent Auction
1.
Bids are to be in $5 increments.
2.
No Item Guarding.
3.
The Silent Auction items will be pulled by SCWA staff or committee members.
4.
Please use only your bid number not your name.
5.
All items are to be paid for before you can pick them up.

After the auction, please take your receipts to the register table for payment.

Then collect your items from the property’s room. No one will be allowed to leave the premises

1. “Angel Oak” by Kent Porth Nature Photography
This is a beautiful archive quality framed photographic portrait of the ancient oak located
in Charleston County, South Carolina. This grandfather tree’s branches have been
weighted down over the years to create a sight so magnificent it has become the subject
of many artists.
2. Joey Jobes Hand Carved Pintail Decoy with Stand
The Jobes family has been carving working gunning decoys in the Havre De Grace
Maryland Chesapeake Bay area for over 75 years. This working pintail decoy was hand
carved by Joey Jobes the Grandson of Captain Harry Jobes one of North America's most
famous decoy carvers. This decoy is sure to be a valuable collector’s item.
3. Cantey Bay Youth Duck Hunt
You are bidding on a Cantey Bay Youth Duck Hunt for this Season’s Youth Day February
6th, 2016. Dinner the night before and a guided hunt the next morning for parent and
youth hunter.

released out of a 55’ tower and all birds are divided among the hunters at the end of the

This Carolina Cypress Tray was handcrafted for you from Southern Bald Cypress and
finished with WATCO butchers block oil. It’s safe for food contact.
9. 7 Day Plains Game Management Hunting Safari for Two Hunters with Shi-awela

You are bidding on a 7 day Plains Game Management Hunting Safari for two hunters in
2016. Two hunters for 5 full hunting days, (2x1 Guide Service). Includes arrival &
departure days in camp. Includes 3 animals: choice of 1: Blue Wildebeest, Kudu,
Waterbuck, Red Hartebeest, or Gemsbuck, Choice of 2: Impala, Warthog, Blesbuck, Jackal,
or Duiker. This is an opportunistic hunt, subject to management requirements & species
composition at the time of the hunt. Management animals to be shared by both hunters.

wooden classic trawler. ($1500 Value)

The frost fighter jacket has a street friendly style, but is also ready to tackle the elements

Three of you will enjoy a guided morning duck hunt on the new 192 acre irrigated duck
pond next to SCWA. This duck pond is managed by SCWA. The hunt will be good for the
2016/2017 season. Hunt includes breakfast and guide. $100 tip for guide not included.

1960 61’ North Carolina built Trawler that has been restored and remodeled to be a
passenger cruiser. Outfitted for skeet shooting, company parties, wedding parties, oyster
roasts, birthday parties, band parties, beach excursions, and so much more (Retail Value

This is a beautiful archive quality framed photographic scene featuring one of nature’s
greatest wonders. Kent Porth is known for his subject matter and the quality of his work.
19. Four (4) Pallets of Centipede/Bermuda Sod - Donated by Super Sod
You are bidding on four pallets of centipede or Bermuda sod donated by Super Sod in
Orangeburg, South Carolina. Super Sod is the Southeast's Premier quality sod producer.
Each pallet of sod will cover 504 square feet for a total of 2,016 square feet. Extra pallets
can be purchased at the regular price. Delivery cost is not included but can be arranged
with Super Sod. (Retail Value $500)
