Membership applications can be obtained online at www.anbfnatural.com, on ANBF Facebook page, or via email from the ANBF office. Cost of membership is $50.00 (amateur). You may purchase your ANBF membership during check-in. **Note: No membership fee is required for Kids Fitness entries. This is a 100% drug-tested contest. Polygraph and urinalysis are the testing methods of the ANBF. All competitors must be drug free for a period of at least 7 years. The ANBF has adopted the 2015 WADA Prohibited List. You, as a competitor, are responsible to know the effects that certain supplements may present. Just because you may have bought it over the counter does not mean it is acceptable in the ANBF. Please research carefully. The WADA Banned substance list can be viewed here. Polygraph Testing: Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th (Times TBD) @ the Host Hotel. Polygraphs will not be scheduled for a certain timeslot. It is the competitor’s responsibility to take the polygraph during checkin. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Anyone who has not taken a polygraph test will not be allowed to compete. The fee is $50 paid directly to the polygrapher. Cash only! **Note – ANBF will recognize another organization’s polygraph if taken within 45 days of the Old Glory Natural Classic. You must obtain a copy of your polygraph results and present them at check-in to qualify. Check in: Friday, May 8th from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm @ the Host Hotel All competitors MUST check in Friday, May 8th. There will be absolutely no check-ins the day of the show. Check-in and polygraph will be located at the host hotel. Competitors must bring with them their current ANBF membership card or be prepared to purchase your ANBF membership during check in. All bikini and figure competitors will be checked for height. All bodybuilders (men/women) will be checked for weight so please wear something appropriate for weigh-in. All competitors will sign the ANBF competition release during check-in as well. Please come prepared with your music on a CD to hand in during check-in. Music: CDs only, a maximum of 60 seconds. All competitors are allowed to bring their own music for their posing routines and stage walks. If you choose not to bring your own music, house music will be played for you. Music must NOT contain profanity or sexually explicit lyrics (this is a family show). Competitor Meet & Greet: Friday, May 8th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm @ the Host Hotel. More info TBD. Entry Fees: Early Bird registration special- $40 for the 1st class, with a $30 crossover fee to other classes. Early bird registration deadline to enter is April 4th, 2015. After April 4th, registration fee will be $50 with a $30 crossover fee for additional classes. Only 1 trainers pass per athlete will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced. Trainer’s passes provide access to the show as well as backstage area. Show Day: Saturday, May 9th @ the Lee Center in Alexandria, VA Doors open for athletes: 7:30 am – Tanning, hair and makeup services will begin at this time Doors open for general public: 9:00 am – Tickets go on sale at this time. General Admission: $30 for full day. VIP (1st 3 rows of seats) $40 for full day. Kids under 2 are free; Kids 2-12 ½ price. Competitors meeting will be located in the backstage area of the venue. Show Time: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm - This is a “straight through, live judged” format. Competitors will be judged in their appropriate categories and then will come out for their routines/stage walks individually immediately following their class. If a competitor has already performed their routine/walk in a previous class (in the case of cross-overs), they will not perform it again for subsequent classes. Once all classes have been judged, awards will be given for the top 5 in each class. The top 2 from each class (1st & 2nd place winners) will be judged in overalls following all awards. There will be overalls for the following classes (subject to change depending on number of classes): Novice: BB, Figure & Bikini *Open: BB, Figure, Bikini, Men’s Physique & Women’s Physique *Open class overall winners will be eligible for ANBF pro status following urinalysis results. Masters class winners will also be eligible for their ANBF Masters pro status. Open overall class winners will be urine tested immediately following the show. **Open pro card winners will have their entry fees paid to compete as a pro in the ANBF Pro Nationals held on May 16th, 2015 in Brick, NJ** Jewelry: NO jewelry, other than wedding rings will be permitted for bodybuilders for group comparisons. Body piercings must be removed or you cannot compete. For figure, women’s physique and bikini competitors, jewelry is allowed. Judging Criteria and Posing: Please ensure you are familiar with the ANBF’s judging and posing criteria. All criteria, including posing, can be found on the ANBF’s website under Guidelines here. **Kid’s Fitness Division – Kids will create a routine (up to 60 seconds) to music which displays their favorite sport, dance or some other athletic ability. There are no group comparisons for the kids fitness category. All kids will receive a medal. No membership fee is required for kid’s fitness athletes. **Mixed Pairs/Couples – Pairs can be male/female or same-sex. Each pair will perform an up to 60 sec routine. There are no group comparisons. Judging will be based on creativity of the routine, synergy between partners and the aesthetics of the athletes (relative to their individual categories of bikini, figure, physique or bodybuilding). Routines must be kept to a rating of PG! This is a family show! Anything too risqué will be marked down or disqualified! **Posing classes will be held through Center Stage Figures & Physiques ongoing from January through May to help prepare you for the ANBF stage.
