Salvation in no other (Acts 4:12) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”. This declaration by Peter was not made in the midst of his friends, nor would this message be considered an ice-breaker. Peter, in unmistakable language, states that world religions are incapable of saving a single soul. The Jews would likely not welcome the inspired words of Peter, but Peter was not seeking their approval, but their salvation. Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world (John 4:42; I John 4:14). All who will be saved must come to him, according to the terms he has set forth, namely: 1. You must hear the word (Romans 10:17) 2. You must believe the gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15-16) 3. You must repent of your past sins (Luke 13:3) 4. You must confess Christ before men (Acts 8:37) 5. You must be baptized for the remission of your past sins (Acts 2:38) Then, as a member of the church of Christ, you must remain faithful until death (Revelation 2:10). Will you come to him who died for you?
