Helpful tips to remember:
Thoughtful, original and audience centric sessions historically have the best approval success rate.
Make sure EVERY QUESTION is answered. Incomplete submissions will NOT be considered.
CFPs will be guaranteed a review if received by the specified period, if relevant.
All proposals received after the deadline will be considered for future use.
A successful submission does not mean that session will be approved. Check back online to see your current status.
Notifications will be sent out once the approval process is completed. The timing will change per each individual event.
Always think of your audience. Review the PCMA target audience guide to help you prepare for CFP and ultimately presentation.
The CFP can be saved between each step. Make sure to answer all of the questions on the page, and click the save button at the bottom.
Edits can be made until you click final submission. Changes can also be made while still in the “new” status until the review process begins.
Proof read. Watch up for cut and paste errors. Check for grammar and typos.
If CFP submission is not approved for a particular event, it possibly could be considered for another event. PCMA will contact you to discuss, if appropriate.
You may submit the CFP for more than one event. You actually have an opportunity to submit for consideration for all PCMA events. However, multiple submissions do not
necessarily coordinate to improved chances of approval.
