Forgive Him
Supervisor and former football player, Sean Porter, works in the Kilpatrick
juvenile detention center with teens that have a lack of discipline, self-esteem and
perspective on life. In this scene Willie has been jailed for killing his mother’s
boyfriend in the middle of a domestic abuse situation. Coach Sean tells Willie
that despite his father’s lack of love and acceptance, he still needs to forgive him.
