for a Literature Response to complete. You may not select books you have previously read. Each book and response completed earns House
Points!
Optional “Distinguished Reader” Goal: Read an additional four books (from any categories you choose on the list) and complete a
Literature Response assignment. You may not select books you have previously read. Students reading and responding to both the
Required four and to the additional four books for the goal of “Distinguished Reader” receive recognition and an honor pin for their
House Medal sash on Honors Day in May.
Note: “Any in series” means any volume in the series is permissible; “Or” means choose one or the other title listed as they are
comparable; “And” means the two titles listed together are worthy but brief, so both must be read to count due to the brevity
