Relationships with various campus entities involved in the successful presentation of an event. Internship : Information Technology -- Programming Supervisor: Jon Marthaler, Assistant Director, Application Development Team Lead Anticipated Start Date: 6/18/2012 Stipend: $1000/month Term: 12 months Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Knowledge of: Developing software, especially web-based software. Experience in working in a college athletic department or other ticketing organizations. Internship Description: You will be supervised by the Associate Director of Ticketing. All ticket managers will mentor this internship. A general description of the internship opportunity is as follows: Receive “hands on” learning experiences with: 1. Daily operation of the Phone Bank and accounting areas. 2. Phone Bank student workers. 3. Working with customer service representatives to answer questions, handle “escalated” customer complaints. 4. Daily batching and processing of ticket orders for all sports. 5. Game Day preparation – which includes fulfilling staffing assignments and organizing player pass lists. 6. Ticket office operations on game day. 7. Event reconciliation – which includes auditing, reporting and daily balancing from window sales. 8. Configuring ticket specials with the marketing department. 9. Season parking passes for Football, Men’s Basketball and Men’s Hockey.
