Al-Kafaa Management System:
It constitutes modules such as accounts, sales, purchase & store. Accounts
module maintains all daily accounting transactions like preparation & printing
of journal voucher, receipt voucher and payment voucher. It gives all
accounting related reports like cash book, bank book, sales book, purchase book,
L/C book, party ledger, expense register, expense analysis, trial balance, general
ledger etc. This software further maintains all daily transactions used in trading
company like invoice generation followed by purchase order and delivery,
enquiry raised by purchase department and materials received by either L/C or
any other means. It maintains online updating of stock. It generates several
reports related to sales, purchase and stock.
Responsibilities included:
 Installation of Windows NT 4.0 operating system
 Installation of Oracle 8.0, Configuring & creating the control file, data file, log
file, archive log file, tablespaces, rollback segments.
 Participated in interviews, structured meetings with end users & management
to analyze the application.

Integrated Standard Banking System:
Integrated Standard Banking System is fully parameterized software. This
system can be operated in any branches and banks, only by setting the
parameters according to bank/branch requirement. The performance of the ISBS
is as expected, by facilitating to the customer better services as on line and real
time systems with better performance as compared to manual banking system in
the report generation, interest calculation and in any other fields. Some of the
examples of most common activities are account opening, receipt and payment
of cash, interest calculation/accrual, issue/payment of banker’s
cheque/draft/MT’s, transfer between different accounts, bill
discounting/collection, LC opening etc.
Responsibilities included:
 Installation of Oracle.
 Installation of Integrated banking system.
 Parameter setting according to the branch requirements.
 Training to bank staffs.
 Modifications in program according to needs of bank management.
 Creating users and assigning roles to them according to their level.
