一、課程目標與內容：
本課程為引導博士班同學深入探索比較政治理論及研究方法。課程從回顧比
較政治研究主流文獻，檢視與評批判爭辯中的理論與學說。其次本課程將結合「政
治科學實驗室」計畫，加強「比較政治實驗」探索，意即運用社會科學的「準實
驗」方法探討比較政治所涵蓋的政治制度與政治行為研究，尤其將利用地方政治
或地方政府為實驗題材進行「準實驗研究」，實驗成果將可驗證或檢視比較政治
爭辯性理論論述或充實比較政治理論學說。
二、課程要求與計分：
本課程要求學生研讀指定文獻，並於課堂提出讀書心得報告，及繳交五至十
頁的書面報告，此一部份佔學期成績 40%。其次，學生應進執行一項「比較政
治實驗計畫」，此一計畫分為三階段完成，第一階段，提出「實驗研究設計大綱」
(due on Nov. 13)，第二階段提出「實驗研究執行步驟與程序」(due on Dec. 4)，第
三階段提出「實驗研究成果」(due on Jan. 15, ’10)，此佔學期成績 60%。
