Installation Pre Request
1) Windows Firewall Turning OFF
2) Server MUST configured with a STATIC IP (Server’s IP and Computer name not allow to change after
it’s configured, please assign a PROPER Static IP and Computer name to avoid changes in future)
3) If the server is running on Domain Environment, make sure the server is joined to the Domain.
4) Server must login as Administrator
5) Internet Explorer 6.0 and above
6) Installed with MDAC 2.6 SP1 and above
7) Able to Access to internet Directly without going through Proxy Server

How To Turn Off Firewall for Windows 2008 Server
1. Click on [Start] button in user’s computer and select [Control Panel].
2. Click on [Switch to Classic View] if the display screen of Control Panel is as below.

3. Double-click on [Windows Firewall] icon.
4. Click on the radio button [Off (not recommended)] in Windows Firewall properties page.

B. How to configure Local Security Policy for Windows XP/2003 Server
1. Go to Control Panel and select Administrative Tools. And then double-click on [Local Security Policy]
icon.

2. Select [Security Options] from Local Policies under the Security Settings tree.
Double-click on the policy [Accounts: Limit local account use of blank password].
3. Change the Local Security Setting to [Disabled]. (Default setting of this policy is Enabled)
Click on [OK] button to complete the changes.

4. Select and configure on another policy in Local Security Setting.
Double-click on the policy [Network access: Sharing and security model for local accounts].

5. Change the Local Security Setting to [Classic – local users authenticate as themselves]
(Default setting for this policy is Guest only – local users authenticate as Guest)
Click on [OK] button to complete the changes.

TCO!Stream Server Setup
1) Insert the TCO!stream CD-ROM into the CD Drive. Two folders, Console and Server_Console appear.
2) Select the Server_Console folder.
3) Run the Setup.exe to start the installation process.

4) Enter the user name, company name and license key and click [Next].
♣ Note
If a message appears stating that the license is not valid, check the company name and the license on the license certificate
again. Note that the company name and the license are case sensitive and recognize spaces.

5) The screen will ask about the folder in which install the TCO!Stream Server.

7) The window for selecting the server type appears. If the server being installed is the top server, select ‘The
Top TCO Server’. The Top TCO server needs the static IP Address to access the TCO!stream Client, and
the static IP Address of the current server is basically the IP Address of the server being installed. If you
have more than one IP Address, then you will have to select the one that can actually communicate with the
TCO!stream Client. (For an intermediate server, see the [next]

8) When the server is installed, a TCO!stream Client Setup folder is created under the installation folder and
the TCO!stream Client setup file is created. If you enter the type of license that includes remote control, the
TCO!stream Client setup file can contain remote control.
Option Description
A) Select A, if remote control is not to be installed in the Client PCs. The setup file is created without remote control.
B) Select B, in the event of a new installation or replacement due to upgrading the remote control. The setup file is
created with remote control.
C) Select C, if remote control is not installed in some of the Client PCs. The setup file is created with remote control
only for those PCs.
* Do not include Remote Control since this version is an old version of remote control

10) Once the server is installed and the TCO!stream Client setup file is created, the database is set up and
created. (This window appears only when you have selected Use currently installed SQL Server in the Select
Database window in , and will proceed to the Create Database screen on the next page)
11) For connection with the SQL server, enter the IP address of the PC where the SQL server is installed.
12) Select the connection information according to the SQL server environment. After the setting, click [Next]
♣ Note
SQL Server: Enter the SQL server IP and Port to be used. (If the current PC is to be used as the
SQL server, set to ‘(local)’)
Connection Information: Select the SQL authentication method selected at the time of installing
the initial SQL server. For SQL server authentication, you should enter the password.
(ID is connected to ‘sa’ that is the system account of the SQL Server.)

13) Once the server is installed and the TCO!stream Client setup file is created, the database is set up and
created. (This window appears only when you have selected Use currently installed SQL Server in the Select
Database window in , and will proceed to the Create Database screen on the next page) For connection with
the SQL server, enter the IP address of the PC where the SQL server is installed. Select the connection
information according to the SQL server environment. After the setting, click [Next]

14) When the TCO!stream Database is created, you should use the user account name that is the same as the
corresponding database name. Set the password and click [Next]

15) After setting the database user, set up the administrator account and the password to log in to the console.
You must memorize the password, because it will be used for login.
16) If you click without entering a password, the message shown below appears. If you click YES, you can proceed with
the installation without setting up a password. We recommend that you enter a password. If the server is installed
without a password, the administrator must change the password in [Tools] -> <Options> -> <Register Manager> of
the console.
17) When it ask for Remote Control Host Setup in TCO!Stream Server, Choose NO

18) When the database installation is completed automatically, console installation is started automatically.
19) Once the console installation is completed, and the system is rebooted, the installation of Server & Console
is completed. (For console installation, refer to Installation of TCO!stream Console)

TCO! STREAM WEB SERVER INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. TCO! PMS Web Server.Allocate the installer folder which is WebServer_SETUP_ENG.
2. Run the Setup.

3. Click Next.
4. Define the location for the TCO PMS WEB Server and click NEXT as shown below.

5. Select the TCO!Stream Web Server + TCO! Hotpatch File Server for the Top Server Option and click
Next.
6. Enter the TCO! Stream Top Server IP address and click Next.

7. Installation of TCO!WebServer will start
8. Please configure the Web Service Port to 8888 and input the information of the DB for the TCO.

Update TCO Patch
1) Open TCO_PATCH folder.
2) Double-click the each executable files in sequence according to number in the filename.
3) During the patching process, some popup will appear requesting user to select YES or NO. Just click NO.

4) After finish, restart the Server.
5) Login into TCO!Stream Console Server and perform CLIENTUPGRADE (Tools ->Client->Clientupgrade)
in order to update the agent’s files
6) Configure WebInstallation to TCO!Stream Top Server. (Please refer to “WebInstallation Guideline” on how
to configure webinstallation.
7) Share [Auto] & [NotSilent] Folder from C:\Program files\TCOStream\Server\ClientSetup

TCO!Stream Sysloader.cpl File Configuration
1) Allocate Sysloader.cpl from [X:\Program Files\TCOStream\Server\ClientSetup\Auto]
2) Edit the Sysloader.cpl file using Notepad.
